*ON PAUSE THROUGH ADVENT*
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS AT ST. PAUL’S
Grow in faith with your fellow church members as we enjoy Bible study and fellowship on Wednesday evenings at St. Paul’s, starting on September 10. Here is the schedule, arranged by age group:
4:15-5:00 Confirmation 1: Small Catechism (5th and 6th grade, with Pastor)
6:00-6:50 Confirmation 2: Enduring Faith (7th and 8th grade, with Pastor)
6:00-6:50 LYF (high school, with Tish and Emily)
7:00-7:50 Adult Study (high school and adults, with Pastor)
“Search” is the new adult study on Wednesdays evenings, examining tough questions about real faith and real life. Topics will be drawn from the Bible, the news, the culture, questions from participants, and more. Here is a sample:- Why are many called if only few are chosen?- Is Israel committing genocide in Gaza?- Do humans have free will?- What is faith like a mustard seed?- How do I forgive someone who hurt me?- What defines moral behavior?- What is a Christian view of conspiracy theories?- Are we all cyborgs now? (AI, Consciousness, and Being)- Didn’t God know that Adam would sin?- Are we God’s children? (Isn’t that Mormon?)
Invite your unchurched and under-churched friends to join us for terrific discussions about burning questions, including questions taken live from the audience!

FELLOWSHIP TIME! Fellowship time is a time to converse with friends as well as enjoy a breakfast snack and drinks from 9:15 - 9:30am in the Family Life Center before Sunday School Begins at 9:30am. We are splitting through the alphabet for people to bring food items each Sunday. If your last name begins with the following letters, you would be up to bring fellowship food on the following Sunday...
A-G - 1st Sunday of the month
H-M - 2nd Sunday of the month
N-S - 3rd Sunday of the month
T-Z - 4th Sunday of the month
This doesn't limit you to only bringing on that week, we are just trying to spread the food across the month. There will also be a FREE WILL DONATION bucket out every Sunday for those who go through the line. This will help support the purchase of coffee/juice/back up food items when the need arises. There is also the opportunity to help clean up the kitchen area after Sunday School every week. Feel free to help clean up food items, coffee, cups, etc. as you gather back in the FLC after Sunday school. Your help is appreciated!
If you have any questions, contact Pat Lynch or Marilyn Keller.
EMERGENCY CONTACT FOR PASTOR
To reach Pastor directly in an emergency, please text or call his personal cell phone: 239-248-7134. Do not call the church for an emergency and leave a voice message at the pastor extension, since that only sends an email and does not text or otherwise notify pastor’s cell phone. Please remember, unknown calls to a cell phone go straight to voicemail and do not ring. Please leave a message. Even better, text Pastor now from your cell phone and identify who you are. Then he can add you to his contacts in his phone, and your future phone calls will go straight through to him. Thanks!
