Midweek Pre-Confirmation Class

This class is for 5th and 6th grade students who do not attend the parochial school. Class is held from 6:00-7:00 P.M. on Wednesday and begins the process of growth in Christian education that prepares students for Junior Confirmation Class during their 7th and 8th grade years.

 

Youth Confirmation

Junior Confirmation class meets on Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 P.M. for all 7th and 8th grade students of the congregation and their friends. Pastor leads the class and has help from adult mentors who guide youth through the two years of study. The class focuses on the Bible and Luther's Small Catechism, using lectures, skits, videos, discussion, and servant events to help develop young disciples of Jesus Christ. Upon completion of the second year of study, a student can be confirmed into communicant membership of the congregation on the first Sunday of May. Students in the 7th and 8th grades also are invited to participate in Junior Lutheran Youth Fellowship which has various activities and servant projects.

 

Adult Confirmation

Pastor offers adult instruction for those who desire to know more about Lutherans or join the congregation. This instruction is normally offered several times during the year. Please contact Pastor if you are interested in knowing more about St. Paul's and the Lutheran faith.  316-542-0115, 542-0115.
