SunDay school

St. Paul's offers Sunday School opportunities for the entire family! We invite you to attend Sunday school as a wonderful opportunity to grow in the Word of God and and in your relationships with others at St. Paul's.

SUNDAY SCHOOL AT HOME

This curriculum was created for multiple ages in one classroom, which makes it a great option for families to use at home together during this time of staying at home. Options for younger and older children, size, and ability help you tailor the lessons to your family's needs. Checkboxes help you choose and prepare the activities for each lesson, allowing families to learn together each week even when we are apart. Complete at a time that works for your own family. There are also extra activities with each lesson that you can use if you wish. We can't wait to be together at Sunday school again soon, but we hope this helps your family stay focused on God's Word and Son while we wait!

Use a green colored pencil or crayon to write traits along the branches that describe you and who God has made you to be! Write your name on the trunk of the tree. Jesus called Zacchaeus by name to come down from the tree and knew everything about Zacchaeus and loved him! Jesus knows your name, too, he knows our traits and personality, and he loves YOU!

Write a note or draw a picture to mail to the Golden Age Home. You don't have to write/send to a specific resident; simply address the envelope as below, and the notes/cards will be shared with a resident who may need a smile!

APRIL 5 | A CRUSHING TRUTH: JESUS IS CRUCIFIED

Our curriculum does not have a specific lesson for Palm Sunday, so below are a couple ideas for celebrating at home.

Youth Sunday School

Youth Sunday school is offered for preschool-high school students. We use a team teaching approach, so your child will experience serveral different individuals sharing God's Word and investing their time and efforts in the youth of St. Paul's. We start together as one large group for opening that involves sharing prayer requests and prayers, recognizing birthday and baptism birthdays, and singing traditional Sunday school songs. Kids then split into different classes to go through the weekly lesson from CPH's Enduring Faith curriculum. Our theme for this year is "Donut you know Sunday school is SWEETER with you!" We'd love to have you sweeten our classes by attending!

Adult Sunday School

The JOY class is continuing the book study Connected to Christ, Why Membership Matters by Peter Speckhard.  This CPH book presents biblical reasoning for why church membership is a crucial aspect of Christianity.  You are a part of the body of Christ.  You matter.  Membership matters.  Come join us in the 7th-8th grade classroom in the school.

The basement class is continuing the DVD series The Odyssey of St. Paul featuring Dr. Paul Maier.  Aside from Jesus himself, no one had a greater influence on the founding of Christianity than Paul of Tarsus.  Dr. Maier takes us along on Paul's journeys.  Come join us in the basement.
