FAITH OVER FEAR

STARTS APRIL 20

A message from Beth Scherbarth:

I have a friend today, Sara, who runs "The Holy Mess" website. She is a blog writer, and she runs Faithful Finish Lines with a friend, Becky Brown. She is also a LCMS trained teacher from Concordia Wisconsin. Right now she is offering a Free 30 day Faith over Fear Bible reading Plan, which gives our members the opportunity to be in an online bible study without leaving their home! In addition, for $4.00 extra dollars you can get a 30 day Bible reading plan notebook to use while doing the Bible study. She is giving it at a 50 percent discount right now. The notebook gives you a page for each day and includes space to write the day's reading plan, a place for reflection, prayers, and space for notes and more writing or Bible journaling. Sara is a really neat lady, and I think you will enjoy this!

St. Paul's offers several options to get involved in a Bible study or small group. These opportunities not only provide a time to grow in faith and learning, but they grow friendships and relationships within our congregation and beyond as well!

TUESDAY MORNING LADIES BIBLE STUDY

The Tuesday morning ladies Bible study started more than 20 years ago. We are currently known as the Tuesday Morning Turtles because we work slowly through our lessons sharing our thoughts and experiences. We meet on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:00. All ladies are welcome to join us as we engage in Bible study and grow together as sisters in Christ. We close with a Christ Care Prayer sharing our concerns for our families and friends.

WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY

The Wednesday morning Bible study meets in the church basement each Wednesday morning. Digging deep into God's Word, this group enjoys learning, discussing, and growing in the Bible.

MOM'S GROUP

If you like peace and quiet, then this group may not be for you! But if you enjoy time and fellowship with other mom's (of all kinds and at different stages of mom life) and a chance to have your child play with other kids, then we may be for you! We gather on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday in the Family Life Center at 10:00 A.M. Kids play and run around as they enjoy the big open space of the FLC while we moms talk about life, share prayers, and attempt to discuss whatever book/study we are tackling together. We are a mixture of St. Paul's members, community members, moms with small children, moms with kids all in school, moms with grown kids out of the house--if you want to join us, we want to have you!

MEN'S MINISTRY

Men's Ministry meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 7:00 A.M. We eat breakfast together and look at a devotion together. We also look for opportunities to serve our congregation and community. All men in our church and community are welcome!

BASIC (Brothers & Sisters in Christ)

BASIC meets on the last Thursday of each month in the church basement at 6:30 P.M. We are group of families mostly with school age and younger children, although we welcome you whether you are single or married, with or without children. Our kids play together while we dive into a single-lesson study. We also find time to pray and, of course, eat some sort of delicious dessert!
